Kari Lund, RMT graduated in 2011 from the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria.

Kari has completed her level 1 mastectomy guide for healthcare professionals training.

She has a special interest and growing passion for working with people who are dealing with complications resulting from surgeries such as mastectomies.

Kari has been certified in perinatal massage and has completed training to work on scars post caesarean section.

Her case study on the "Treatment of Pain and Discomfort During Pregnancy Using Massage Therapy and Muscle Energy Techniques" won 3rd place in the Massage Therapists' Association of BC's case study competition.

She has experience treating an array of conditions such as headaches, migraines, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, strains, carpal tunnel syndrome, and chronic pain to name a few.

Throughout her studies, practicum and now practice, her initial interest in massage therapy has developed into a great desire to grow as a therapist and have an impact on the people she treats.  Using a variety of techniques such as trigger point release, myofascial, general swedish massage and stretching, she believes that massage is a vital and powerful tool that can be used to treat a wide range of conditions.

She encourages her patients to take charge of their well being and believes that preventative massage can go a long way.
